Santa’s Video Mailbox – Rental Terms & Agreement

Effective for 2025 Holiday Season RentalsBy completing the checkout process on our site, you are agreeing to these Terms & Agreement.
1. Rental Eligibility
- Renter must be 21 years of age or older.
- Rental is available only to customers within a two-hour drive of Baraboo, WI as calculated by Google Maps.
- A valid photo ID and signed rental agreement are required before delivery.
2. Rental Period
- Delivery & Setup: Coordinated for late November or early December.
- Pickup: During the final week of December 2025 or 1st week of January 2026.
- The rental period includes setup, use during the holiday season, and pickup. Exact dates will be confirmed prior to delivery.
3. Rental Fee & Payment
- Rental Price: $499.00 (plus applicable tax).
- Full balance is due upon completing order.
- Payments can be made via checkout page.
4. Delivery, Setup, and Pickup
- Haus of Holiday Lights will deliver, set up, and test the Santa’s Video Mailbox at your location.
- Renter must ensure safe and accessible placement (e.g., near power and Wi-Fi if applicable).
- Renter agrees not to move or modify the unit after setting up.
- Haus of Holiday Lights will return to retrieve the unit during the agreed pickup window.
5. Care & Responsibility
- Renter is responsible for reasonable care of the unit during the rental period.
- The mailbox must be kept in a suitable location to prevent damage.
- In case of damage beyond normal wear and tear, renter may be billed for repair or replacement costs up to the unit’s replacement value ($1,999).
- Renter agrees not to open, alter, or tamper with any electronic components or wiring.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made after November 15th are non-refundable unless Haus of Holiday Lights is able to rebook the unit.
7. Liability
- Haus of Holiday Lights is not responsible for any injury, property damage, or loss resulting from misuse of the Santa’s Video Mailbox.
- Renter agrees to use the unit for its intended purpose only — collecting letters and displaying the included videos provided by Haus of Holiday Lights.
8. Ownership
- The Santa’s Video Mailbox remains the property of Haus of Holiday Lights at all times.
- Renter is not allowed to copy data from the computer or SD Card.
- This agreement constitutes a rental only and does not transfer ownership or rights to the renter.
